Good Practice Guide for WIL CaseStudies

Outcomes

Publishing case studies facilitates the following in the WIL community:

  • sharing expertise and resources;
  • inspire innovation;
  • strengthen all WIL curricula;
  • strengthen WIL evaluation;
  • bench marking good WIL practice;
  • effective WIL leadership;
  • engagement with industry and community;
  • embedding WIL in the curriculum for credit.

Criteria

The criteria for selection of a case study for publication will be based on the following criteria:

  • evidence of the benefit of WIL to the student, community/industry and university;
  • evidence of best practice and/or innovation in assessment;
  • evidence of successful evaluation process;
  • evidence of wider impact.

Staff Development

Academic staff should also evaluate industry engagement against the Australian University Teaching Criteria and Standards Framework Criteria 5.

Submit a case study

Once you have submitted your case study you will receive an automated response indicating your that your submission has been received.

Your submission will undergo review in a timely manner and you will be notified if the case study

  1. has been accepted or rejected;
  2. requires further development, in which case we will provided feedback and advice.

If the case study is accepted we will provided a final draft for your approval prior to publication.
